Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Becketts Townhouse is often praised for its modern, clean rooms and exceptionally comfortable, large beds. Guests appreciate the well-equipped rooms with coffee/tea making facilities and lovely showers, and the breakfast options including croissants, fruit, yogurt, and bacon or sausage in brioche. While some guests have noted that bathroom setups can vary, potentially leading to some water spillage, the location close to the Historic Dockyard and hovercraft port is generally considered convenient.

Really good Boutique Stay!!!

late barperfect cateringsuperb venuehelpful staff
The bar remained open late for us. We watched football together and socialized. The event catering was perfect. Everyone agreed that the venue, food, and drinks were superb. The staff provided extra tea bags and fresh towels, which I very much appreciated.
The Greek restaurant nearby was not excellent.

The breakfast was quite acceptable. It was simple but good, and I was able to start my day well. There were pastries, yogurts, and fruit available , I think it's a good choice.
Rooms

A Fantastic Boutique Hotel Experience!

huge bedbreakfast selectionpoor ventilation
We booked a room at the last minute and got a GREAT deal with breakfast included! The room decoration was fantastic, and I loved the bedside lights. The bed was HUGE! I found the selection at breakfast nice.
The room I stayed in had little opening, other than the roof window. I noticed a damp air in the room, especially after I had a shower due to poor ventilation. I really would not advise anyone to book that particular room!
Facilities
8/10
The hotel offers a bar on the premises for drinks and relaxation, perfect after a busy day. The hotel provides a light breakfast , setting them up for the day's adventures. The hotel has a party area available for events.
Service
10/10
The staff were friendly and helpful, ready to assist with requests. One staff member, Anya, recommended an excellent restaurant. The staff can provide recommendations for places to eat.
Location
9/10
The hotel is well-located near the port. This makes it convenient for catching a ferry. The place provides easy access to the Isle of Wight. Guests can easily walk to local pubs and restaurants.
Rooms
9/10
The room was better than I expected. It exceeded what the photos showed. The bedding was comfortable. It ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was clean with a proper shower. This provides a refreshing experience.
